Fran, thank you for the big hugs! They are coming back to you with my "heart". DD and I went to church this morning then drove through J in Box and bought burgers. Had them at home and then went to GS's. We were late, but they were still having lunch. It was good to be there, but tiring. My DDIL is waiting now to hear from the pain doctor about whether or not and when to do the temporary spinal chord stimulator. The therapist cleared her. GS#2 told me he posted on face book that if he could have anyone in Heaven come back to spend a day with him it would be his grandpa. He told me about some of the things he remembers about him and the help he was always. Made me emotional, but happy. It was right that we were there. Got to see everyone and get hugs in the RW. (almost  as good as yours, fran). I"m sure you do miss your dad. My parents were divorced when I was young, so mine wasn't in my life much, but he died 6 months before hubby at the age of 98 1/2.

There was so much dry brush everywhere today as we drove. Medians, lawns, hillsides. I could hardly believe that people 2 houses down from GS are putting in a POOL! How do they think they will fill it?

I hope this was a good day for you. Glad you have fun memories of your Stuart and your dad.

possummink, once again, thank you for the pictures. Hope this was a good day for you.

Hpe all the others find their way here. I miss everyone.

snappy Heart

Thanks for the heartfelt hugs! They feel good. You are such a treasure. What a loving tribute that your GS#2 wrote on his Facebook page. Your DH sounded like a wonderful man, and was loved . I bet you were emotional, and very proud. I have no doubt that it meant the world to everybody at the BBQ that you were there. I'm sure it was tiring, however I imagine it was a " good" tired, if you know what I mean? Your DDIL is in my prayers. May I ask what is wrong with her back? I have spinal stenosis, and I'm wondering if that's something that would help me. I'm wishing you a blessed day. I had sod put down a few weeks ago, and some of it never took. It wasn't all that healthy when it was put down. I should have rejected it right then and there. Well, to make a long story short the guys are coming out today ( hopefully) to replace it. I love you my sweet friend. Have a blessed day.

PHLUPHY, thank you so much for the pictures. The last one brought back wonderful memories. I remember when my Stuart and I crossed London Bridge ( Tower Bridge) and went to the Tower of London. I remember walking around where those people were walking in the picture. Bless you.
