It has not been many years for me but I dislike how they try to be so entertaining and funny and girls party etc. I do not like it at all and dont like the dancing, the talking at the same time etc.  . If there is something I want to see on any of the shopping channels I have to mute it for most of the show. It is nervewracking the way they act, its a shopping network not a party.

@Jk9 I started shopping with QVC in the Spring of 1986. I never had a problem ordering an item as long as I had the item number. However, I did call once when I didn't have the number and tried to see if the CS dept could find the item. They could not. Not sure when you started shopping but I have always been able to order if I called and gave them the number, and of course, it was in stock. 

It was a challenge for sure. I would have these item numbers all over and if I didn't notate what it was for I had no idea. They did repeat items over and over though so if you missed it then it usually came back eventually.

I learned what Capodimonte porcelain was and that somehow HSN thought we all needed it, a lot of it, in our lives.  I remember a host named 'Muzzy' and he'd honk a horn sometimes.  What a wild one he was. LOL
