A guy just knocked on my door and this is what he said:

"Good morning. I'm from the XYZ Pesticide Company. I just happened to be in the neighborhood and I saw an ant crawling across your sidewalk. I would be able to do a treatment right now if you'd like."

Poor guy. I was laughing so hard I couldn't get any words out. What amazing eyesight! Then I thought it was just a warmup -- a joke to create a bond. But it wasn't.

I wonder if he meant ANT or AUNT?    Depending on which part of the Aunt, or Aunt part of our Country it's pronounced.   heh

I had a guy try to sell me insect protection for my house last week.  Why should I use his company, you ask?

well, they spray my whole yard from street to the house.

yup, any insects on my neighbor's property will be sure to stay on their side of the line....and none will fly in, either.

kinda like getting rid of chippies. One goes and two more move in from next door.

but, good for a chuckle.

I was outside digging weeds...and  a guy walked up and said, "Hello little lady....I bet you watch a lot of television."   

I asked if he was taking a survey...and he said he would put up solar panels to save me a LOT of money watching television. 

I told him I had an LED t.v. that probably takes a dollar a month to run.  He looked SHOCKED as he backed down the sidewalk....

Yesterday, I had a Leaf Guard salesman come to my driveway as I was getting out of the car.

He said they were doing work in the neighborhood and had a great offer for us.

He handed me a brochure and explained that I would no longer have to climb a ladder to clean out my gutters.  I told him, we never clean out gutters and he asked why.

I live in a two story house with no tall trees nearby. I asked him how we would get leaves up there.  He said " thanks for your time and left."

i wonder if @PickyPicky3 pest control man will come by, I saw a spider outside on my deck.

That's an age old scam.  Ants is a new variation but that type of home repair is scam is probably 200 years old.
