@kze I don't think you have to believe in a product to sell it.  There are a lot of things others believe in and love that I don't.  Fraud is a whole different issue.  Lying and cheating are a different issue.

I should have shown that I was responding to the original post by bonkers1.  That probably would have made sense.

There would be MANY rants on these boards if I was a host.

Yes; I could definitely be a host! I think it'd be fun and I bet the money and benefits are good.

No, because eventually I would be saying over and over that something is

incredible, amazing, lovely, you get the idea.

My sister told me - you would be wonderful at that job!  Hmmm.... I hadn't thought of it.  I know some think it is an easy job, but I don't think that it is.  You would have to be fully prepare and versed to do the job justice.  In my younger years - yes, I think I would have been a good host!  When I make up my mind to do something, I devote myself to doing it and doing it to the best of my abilities!

no, too long a time to talk. Too much talk. And too much  back lash.  Kind of dammed if you do dammed if you don't. It's a hard job, glad some people love it, because then we wouldn't have hosts lol

unless one has been in front cameras for long periods, being on live TV is a whole other ballgame. It's not even like being on stage for a play where you have rehearsed, and lighting is different. QVC sound stage is pretty spartan, cameras in your face. Just learning not to look, or to look in lens is a trick and acquired talent.  Also, talking for longer periods.   It can be hot, or even freezing on those sets. No No no.  It's easier to be in film. It stops if you make error, things are adjusted, words are given to you, lol

nope! I have never desired to be in the public eye, or famous, even locally. Much prefer to keep a low profile in life.
