I think social media plays a big part in the dumbing down of our planet. I have younger friends who spend so much time following people online. There are people who are so phony, make others believe they're living "the life", and even some saying that's their job, being an "influencer". What? Yes, my age showing again.

@Foxxee   I've learned to turn on the social when needed for my clients or DH's business dinners, etc.

I'm basically shy (shocker) and prefer not to be around a lot of people unless necessary. Anti-social? I think I'm just picky and enjoy my alone time.
