Making salmon, rice, and broccoli for dinner.

Reading "Where the Crawdads Sing."

Watching Hallmark movie tonight, "Entertaining Christmas."

It is a wonderful life.

Thanks for sharing @dex 😄 I really need to do some housecleaning too but I'm waiting until I'm out of this surgical shoe because it's so awkward to get around. 

Long story on how I wound up in Texas but I will say thank goodness for the Internet and video chatting, making it easier than ever to keep in touch!

@Texasmouse I remember now...you just had the Morton’s neuroma surgery.Hope it is healing well and that the pain will only be a memory....if I am wrong about your foot please excuse my rotten memory.

My husband was in the hospital last week; came home Friday, so I’m still catching up on laundry and housework, while peeking in on him.

@RedTopi hope your dh is feeling better.Sounds like you need a rest too.Always lots to do but save some extra time for whatever let’s you relax.

Wrapped presents this afternoon. My wrapping is not what it used to be. I do buy the QVC bags. They help. Watching the Patriots now. Not going well.

I call my mom each Sat. & Sun. @ 8 AM to plan our day.  Could tell she wasn't well so met my brother there & she was a bit better later in the a.m.  Walked the dog while I was there.  Mom was doing better so she came to our home for the day.  Hubby made homemade chicken soup & was perfect for this dreary, windy overcast (& now pouring) day.  Mom got a few naps in so that was good since she's not been sleeping good lately.  Brought her home at 5 & picked up pizza to bring home.  Hubby had a craving for it.  Now watching Hallmark channel & joining you all for conversations.
