I'm in Maryland and understood they were still in the 1b phase, which is over 75 and others.

I'm in the 1c group, but have seen nothing about registering.

I've been tracking a few places with no luck.

May I ask where you found your info?  Thanks.

This is the site where you plug in your  zip code then it will  direct you to the site where they are offering the vaccine  based on your zip code.  For  me there was another link that I clicked on that had appointment   sites listed as full or available - one site was the local health dept - then they prefer you use  chrome  for my area.  However starting Jan 25 in Md they are to  allow all those 65 and older to get the vaccine . Some of the  Giant grocery stores and some Walmarts.  Go to the link I enetered below than it  will take you to clicking on additional links.

I'm in central Florida. Got my first shot last Thursday and they made the appointments for our second shots before we left. I think we were lucky that we got called back. I'm 65.

I was able to get an appointment for the first dose, but it's a month in advance.  We signed up on line and the system kept crashing.  70,000 seniors in the county trying to sign up for 30,000 doses.  We can't sign up for the 2nd dose yet so I don't know how that's going to happen.

I think you'll find once you get into "the system" as having your first shot you automatically are given a date & time for your second shot. Whether that's going to be in person where getting the first one before you leave there or on-line or via phone call I dunno but you MUST get the second one in a given number of days so they want to be sure you are scheduled for #2.

I'm already with the My Chart system from Yale-New Haven Health but since my shot was thru a Hartford Health System I had to go thru getting myself registered into their My Chart system before getting myself set up for a time and place for #2.

Came back to add, once I got to the page for making the 2nd appointment the date for the 2nd shot was already there but I was given the choice of various places and once you choose the location times open came up and you could pick from those. So my comment about being automatically given a date AND TIME wasn't exactly correct in my case. Day yes, time no.  I think if you miss the second shot by a certain number of days you have to start over with shot #1 so they would have wasted a shot on you which they don't want to happen.

Arizona is dealing with this by county. Pima county doesn’t have enough vaccines to do 75 and older, so you can’t even register yet if you’re 65. You can drive up to Phoenix, but DH would rather wait. We continue to stay home and be very careful but it’s kind of nerve-racking as I am working a little bit every week.  Fortunately as a healthcare worker I got my first shot last week. @Meowingkitty glad you got signed up!

Nothing new in Wisconsin. The last I heard Green Bay was catching up with medical staff. The State Department of Health Web Site says nothing.  A case again for "The Haves and Have Nots!"

It seems to be a sad state of affairs in Pennsylvania.  Today the state put out new quidelines increasing eligibility classification for Phase 1A.  DH and I moved from 1B to 1A.    The problem is there is no information where/when, who to call to schedule appointments.  We are discouraged.

I just finished scheduling an appointment for the vaccine. I'm in Maricopa County in Arizona. There are lots of slots availible if you want to go between midnight and 7am.

I had my first dose this morning. I had to schedule in another county and used within "50 miles" to get my appointment.  We drove 43 miles which I wasn't crazy about but we did have a nice lunch at The Mercantile. Of course we ate at 11 am but that was the only way to eat there.

I was given a card and was told to schedule again (via portal) for my second dose on the Feb16.  There is a place to select second dose.

All doses given that day at same location will be second doses only.  I shouldn't have a problem (oh please).

@Shanus

My wife just filled out forms for both of us to get the vaccine. It said we would be notified when they become available. It also said "this is not an appointment, just a registration".

They will notify us, I believe, via email so we can fill out the forms for an appointment. Who knows when that will be?  My wife is out around more people than I am, so to me her getting it is more important to me. I am not concerned about myself right now.

Who knows, by the time they get around to us! Maybe the Johnson and Johnson 1 shot vaccine will be given!
