I hope everyone continues to wear a mask, socially distance and washes their hands frequently.

We've never stopped seeing our family members. Just last year, during the unknown part of this virus, did we all stay away from each other. We all had Thanksgiving and Christmas together without an issue.

We have seen friends all thru the pandemic - no one has gotten sick.

We did stay away at first too.  But since Mother's Day we have regularly seen family as usual.  No problems with the virus.

Not a gamble I'm willing to take and none of my family was either, so we were home at Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Year's.

We have had no family members sick, and no close calls, with Covid but we know plenty of extended family who have, and one death.
We have a number of medical workers in the family so we have heard first hand how hard it has been on them when people have not followed the guidelines, they have been the ones taking care of them.

For my family it has been worth it, and we will not get together until we have all been vaccinated.

No way I'm willing to gamble with it either, @Bhvbum.

All I have sacrificed so far for nearly a year now, I'm not blowing it now. Not sure I will ever be in a large group again. We don't have large families.

We haven't really stopped seeing family.  It was a smaller get together for Thanksgiving & Christmas but we still saw loved ones.

We plan on seeing adult kids in two weeks to celebrate some birthdays.....
