When we moved to Florida most of our neighbors had cute little grandchildren that would visit. They were such cute kids, playing on their bigwheels & bikes. Geeze - now those little guys are teenagers and driving cars!  Seeing children changing year to year really emphasizes the passing of time.

After a certain number of years it seems time passes even faster. I often wonder how quickly I became an old man, externally, but still being almost the same teen and young adult, internally. Fascinating!

I got completely turned around with the holiday this week.  I had a blood test scheduled this morning and completely forgot about it!

Time goes by so fast when you're older. I feel  like sleeping beauty that took a nap at 25 and woke up an old lady at 75. Lol

I think once you retire the times just flies by and when a holiday falls on a Tuesday like the 4th did, well it just shoots the whole week. I thought if I got up earlier I would have more time to get things done, that doesn't work for me, it just gives me more time to enjoy my morning coffee.

same here!  i see my friends who have their grandchildren who are all grown up and I'm awed!!!  I was at the pool today and my friend had her grandson - i met him when he was 10 now 19 ...omg, grew into a handsome young man.

time flies here .... and sadly, as this is happening I am losing more and more acquantainces I've met during my 9 years here to death.  Its becoming a common occurrence all around me!

I'll someday be there faster than I think!

Yeah, I have that same thing - time passes way too fast, except when you're waiting for something to happen.  

I remember being a kid, or a young adult, and older people saying stuff like 'when you get older, time goes by so fast so enjoy it while you can'.  

Well, you know how that goes - you're thinking 'oh, these old people - they say the weirdest stuff'.    Oops!
