Did you ever notice how fast, or slow, time can go.

I now think, a week just sails by!! But going somewhere I don't want to, the clock zips right by.  It comes and goes by quickly.  But now, a week, a month or a year, and now the years just zip by.

Is anyone else wearing the same watch I am? LOL

My granddaughter will start Kindergarden in the fall and I will turn 62...

I don't know how time passed so fast...

Time is a strange thing....when your young, it seems time drags, as you age is goes quicker...it really doesn't, as time is the same as it always was...there's still 24 hours in a day, but I guess our perception changes..I still have days that feel like they'll never end, but those are few and far between.  I think we're just more aware of time as we get older; when I feel it's going too fast, I slow down, try to be more in the moment and aware..that helps slow things down for meSmiley Wink

Take time every day to enjoy where you are without a need to fix it

I was reminded recently of just how fast time is flying by. I was invited to a July 4 graduation picnic for my friend's granddaughter. I couldn't believe that she was 18 years old. I'd swear it was just a couple of years ago that she was born.

The same holds true for my grandchildren. I often think of them as little kids...which they are NOT. My 22 year old grandson has a verygood job after graduating from college. My 19 year old granddaughter is on her way to Shanghai today to start an internship before she returns to her university in the fall. And my 13 year old granddaughter is a super gymnast whose report card contained all As. I'm proud of all of them but it seems, at times, that they were just born.

I oftent hink about this very thing.  I can remember as a child from one birthday to the next it seemed to be so long.  The same thing with Christmas.  I think it has to do with now I have to make those days special for my own children and have to foot he bill so now that I am paying for it, the year just zooms right on by.  A year's time seems to be so much shorter now.

Growing up it seemed time would DRAG, remember?  I would complain to my mother that I was bored, or I couldn't wait for my birthday or Christmas or some other event.  She would tell me to wait until I grew up and had a family and time will fly by.  Yeah right....well you what, Mom?  You were right!  (As usual!!)
