It sounds like it's well under control.  

There's always Habitat for Humanity and places like that.  I imagine you have a lot of those options there.

But sometimes it's not necessarily the reality of getting it gone, but the emotional aspect.

Well, so much for keeping it simple and not bringing more into the house!

I just ordered some clothes that I will wear but I don't absolutely need.  Just tees, a sweater and pants that are my "uniform", so I know I'll use them.  I've been keeping an eye out waiting for a good sale and today seemed like a good one at 40% off.  Rarely do they offer any higher discounts anymore. Prices have gone up so much in the last few years that now the sale prices are what used to be full price not that long ago.

I wear pretty much the same things and don't want to experiment with other brands anymore.  I want to keep a certain stock of these items because I'm afraid they may be discontinued at any time.

That's my justification anyway.  That, and saving almost as much as I spent.  And avoiding the Christmas sales.  

Fiddle Dee Dee.  I'll start keeping it simple tomorrow. 🙄

Considering how quickly clothes disintegrate these days, you're probably smart for stocking a few items that will actually hold up.

BH wanted me to buy those hiking pants and I objected because of the cost.

Turns out, I liked them and found other colors on sale on their website.

How many years ago was that?

2016!

Still wearing them exclusively and they still look new.  They even survived a house fire.

Conversely, I found a pack of Skechers socks at Costco recently.  Looked similar to a sock I purchased from Costco previously so I bought two packs.  Price was right.

And then I washed them.

They shriveled up and looked like little girls socks.  Even the texture changed.

BH told me to take them back but I figured they'd stretch and still fit.  They do, but they're not the socks I checked out with.  They're tiny and fuzzy and weird.

Isn't anything made right today?
