I am ready for not only an optimistic month but, also, a beginning. And how fitting the first starts on Monday. Don't new starts begin on Mondays and the first of the month? How fitting.

I haven't had a salad in ages so yesterday wanting to start a better eating plan, I bought salad fixings. New day, new dawn, right? Nothing strict, just healthier choices.

I like the new dawn. Seems fitting for all of us.

I also don't have any hobbies and it feels like it is time to find something. Nothing that will keep me in stores or online looking for all the accessories and such. I don't need another rabbit hole to dive into nor do I want to store stuff.

@just bee the brother cat is still struggling.  Yowling/howling all times of the day and night. I thought he was getting a little better but no. I feel bad for the little guy but he is also making my heart hurt a bit more. I try and give him as much attention as humanly possible. But, he misses his buddy.  He had a partner to hang with, sleep with, eat with, play with, fight with, be bad with, bug me with.  But, we all have to go through it unfortunately, no way around it.  

Funny part though is now every time I leave home I am hit with the guilty stick because this guy is all by himself.

He looked like such a sweet boy in his pictures, and yes definitely an owl on his chest. Love his name!! I have had the privilege to work with special needs kids for the last 20+ years, one of my favorite little guys was named Ciaran, he will always hold a special place in my heart, what a mighty name fit for WGD. 

You and DH are in my thoughts and prayers.

I just know that my Lexi found your Kirin and they are running and playing together over the rainbow bridge. Rest in Peace sweet Kirin. XO

It is a beautiful day today.  I am definitely going to make time for a walk and hopefully as far as my legs will take me.

I think it's time, too.  Something has to change.  Everything around us is changing and we need to be able to control at least a small part of our world.

What we choose to eat, what we choose to think, how we choose to spend our time.
