@on the bay

I LOVE ❤️ when the baby birds start hatching too.  I know what you mean by being sad whenever they fly away.  I am too.💝

 I've noticed a bird has built a nest right above our light by the side door.  Everyday, I'll see two birds, one guarding the nest while another brings what I assume to be food.  They take turns doing this.  Unfortunately, I've not been able to identify the species.  I'll bet my dad might know.

Thank you for your kind words about Ruby.💝🌸

Re: Spring Blossoms

@cheriere  Thank you for posting such lovely Spring pictures.

This is my favorite time of the year with everything turning green again and flowers starting to bloom.

 You have more loveliness blooming at this time, than we do in the northeast. We have only seen daffodils and crocus. The

forsythia and some trees have little buds. We need some more warm sunny days.

 The porch on my house sits very high, with lattice below it , across the front of my house. My son discovered a nest being built by Carolina Wrens, just inside the lattice below the porch. Today I saw one of the wrens on our suet feeder.

 I hope that the birds won't be disturbed and we get to see their babies safely hatch and thrive.

 All the beauty that Mother Nature brings to us and all the new baby animals coming in to the world, are the best part of Spring.

( By the way, we have a new baby in the family, my 8th great grandchild, Nora, 5 days old today).

  Your Ruby is precious, she looks like she is ready to lick the cherry off of her toy ice cream cone. She must have been so happy to go out for a walk. She will be looking forward to more Springtime adventures.

@Enufstuff

Oh my goodness, you sound much too young to be a great grandmother, but Congratulations on sweet baby Nora!  What a lovely name and only five days old.  I'll bet she's precious.💝🌸

I also love to see the first signs of Spring.  I'm always filled with new hopes and possibilities of what may be ahead in the coming warmer months.  It's my favorite time of year because of this.

I love seeing the birds building their nests too.  We have one I noticed while out on top of a gutter.  I sure hope they make it too.  I wish I knew what kind of birds they are like you do.  I hope you'll get to see yours grow and fly away safely as well.💝

Warm weather is coming your way very soon. Oh and I absolutely love daffodils!  One of my favorite flowers!  I hope you had a nice Easter with your family.💝
