@Shanus I LOVE air conditioning. LOL I can't wait to use it over the summer. I'm not a summer girl, so I thank Willis Carrier every hot day for my ac. LOL Enjoy the time with your granddaughters. Thank you for this weekly, friendly thread.

This weekend, I'll be watching football and hockey cozy by the fireplace, or reading, or doing cross stitch. It's a relaxing weekend at my home. I hope the same for all of you.

@ninjawife , Blessings to your DD for doing such an important job- I am 1st generation American on both sides. My parents families escaped to South America, ( with the clothes on their back, only becaue of a smart uncle who got them visas)- And eventually emigrated to US- But we had many family members who simply did not beleive it- and perished a horrible death... IT did happen, all of it... They would herd them into a room, drive a truck over and hook up the exhaust- Countless times a day. Or you were starved, tortured, humiliated, or had medical experiments done on you. Sorry for the graphics, but it all happened. Never forget.
