Welcome to this every Friday thread where we share wishes and plans for the weekend, thoughts and prayers and friendship.

I have the GDs this weekend (through Monday) while DS and DIL are away. Lots of plans...manis and pedis, etc. Maybe dinners out and they requested lunch at a new "fancy tea house" where you dress and enjoy a tray of goodies.

Can you believe over 70 today and maybe the A/C will be on late afternoon? Crazy weather.

Prayers always for all who suffer around the world and hopes for safety and no more violence here.

It is much warmer this weekend but foggy and rain on and off.

We have a family Birthday to attend Sunday.

Today is International Holocaust Remembrance Day.  DD works at the Holocaust Museum in DC.  She has a master's degree in heritage studies from Cambridge and she creates content for the museum's social media.  DD loves her job.  She really enjoys researching and interviewing survivors and their families and presenting their stories on social media.

We too have been under rainy, cloudy skies for a few days now.  It has washed all of our snow away but we are supposed to get more on Sunday night.   I'll be home cozy watching my football games.........Tomorrow we are having lunch with my BIL so that will be nice to go out for a few hours.   We really hibernate in the winter, LOL!

@ninjawife   Yes, I'm glad you mentioned International Holocaust Remembrance Day.  I believe it's very important that ALL take time to reflect on this day.  💝💕.  

Let us please NEVER forget the six million who lost their lives, as well as the number of survivors, which has now dwindled to only 245,000 globally.  ❤️💕
