MsPat that is exactly what I do.  Put it on EasyPay,, once I get it and am satisified, I go in and pay it off

This is exactly what I do @Miss Pepsi .  Everything is Easy Pay on my Q card.  If I decide to keep the item, then go in a pay it off.

Me too. Once I decide to keep an item, I edit my ez pay and pay the entire balance.

@KCDiva  I quit the easy pay TRAP a few years ago.  When I buy anything now it is paid in full only. Easy  pay is a wicked trap.

Same goes for everything I buy. I use one credit card for all my monthly expenses....food, bills...etc. pay it off INFULL at the end of the month. I get reward points for using the card....about $150 a month Scott free!  A win win situation.

I use ez pay because if I have to return an item I have only tied up a small amount and don't have to wait for the credit to process on a regular visa. Once satisfied with purchase I pay it off in full. Like @millieshops says, with no interest no risk.

I do this as well! The only ones I paid up have already arrived, and I know i'm keeping them. If I don't know yet, and they've offered EP, I also keep it on EP, in case it has to go back, and I'm out less money...especially since it seems refunds are taking longer now.

I am the same way.  Stopped purchasing a LOT.  I am going to stay in this habit for LIFE.  The easy just "push a button on my phone" has stopped..

I know this may not seem like a big deal but I don't owe QVC anything! I am so happy. One positive thing for me about the pandemic and not going anywhere and working from home is I quit shopping. Most of my purchases were just stuff I didn't need and just impulse purchases. Also the shipping is so bad for companies right now that the last time I ordered something it took about 3 weeks to get it. I used to owe HSN, Evine & QVC. No more easy pays for me.

Good for you for paying off your bills.  For me Easy Pay is not an incentive to purchase anything.  I pay for the item in full when purchasing. Be it HSN, Venus, Amazon, etc. I don't purchase from the Q any longer. They need to get their act together. Was never one for lay-a-way at Christmas time either.

I am in the part of my life where I have no charge accounts and haven't had any for at least 20 years.  I don't use EP and when I want to purchase something online I use PayPal.  If the company doesn't honor PayPal I use my banking debit card.  My husband has two friends that when their wives passed away they had large charge accounts they had to pay off.  I don't want to leave my husband with any charge accounts to pay off.

It's unwise to use the debit card online.

I don't like EP at all.  I do not want to see charges from QVC for months and months.  Getting it home for $5, when I'll finishing paying next March for some capris or something...no thanks.

I have held on to my wallet so tight since the start of the pandemic.  The only thing I need right now is a pair of decent shoes but I'm holding on till the one I'm wearing is not wearable anymore.  My job is shaky right now. I have to say that the pandemic is making a lot of us think about needs instead of wants.
