I suppose the price is worth it for some people.

I am fortunate that making a pie is easy as pie for me.

I also have a sour cherry tree in my yard that put out tons of cherries.  My freezer is full.

Making a cherry pie is really inexpensive for me and my  pies are jammed with cherries...much more so than those  canned pie fillings.

I make a lot of apple pies too.  Hmmm, I wonder if I can sell my pies and make a fortune.  Most flavors  of pie are cheap to make.

Convenience is expensive.

One of my favorite treats is a slice of cold cherry pie right out of the fridge with a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream. Yumm...

For some reason each time these pies are shown someone starts a thread about the perceived outrageous price. I can't help but to laugh. The price is so much in keeping, if not better, than other mailorder services, other outlets.
If food delivery is something you don't like, for whatever reason then that's fine. Others certainly like it, and repeatedly buy it. As stated earlier, if it wasn't selling, it wouldn't be a repeat item.
I think if I started a thread for each item it didn't like, or would never pay QVC's price for, or thought I could fine exact item cheaper, then I would be spamming the forum from now until next next Tuesday. But what point would that serve?
We all have different likes and priorities and price points we're willing to spend on an item. All items. That doesn't mean someone is ridiculous or nuts...just different from someone else.

You are so funny.  I laughed out loud.  If I posted every time I saw something I didn't like or was more than I was willing to pay; I'd be posting 24/7 and my fingers woukd be stubs....lol
