I completely understand how you feel. I have lost numerous dogs and cats. My heart has been so broken with each one. My last Black Lab passed away three years ago.I literally thought i was going to die. I was on medication for quite some time to help my grief. I got her when she was six weeks old,we were inseparable. She passed away at age 16 yrs. I have her urn and a picture of us at the beach by my bedside. I told my DS when I die I want to be buried with her. I am sorry for your loss, I understand all to well.

Oh I feel your pain. I thought for sure Bo would last to be 14 or 15. Every time I go outside I start to cry. I have been trying to watch funny things, and read inspirational quotes about finding strength, but it so hard and too fresh. I look at my cats who are 12 and 13  they are a Mother and Son and think oh gawd, their time will be coming.

Bo helped me thru all my difficult times, my surgeries, my divorce my depression.

I need time, I know, and these sad memories will become happy again and the pain will lesson and all that will remain is the years of love and happiness he gave me. I just need to get thru this rotten, terrible and horrible pain.

Thank you.

@hsawaknow I wish I could ease your pain, my girl helped me get through a nasty divorce, and some illness. My oldest cat lived to be 24,she just passed last year. I have four cats now,all pretty young still. I am afraid to get another dog for it might out live me. The only thing I can suggest to help you feel a little better is the knowing you gave your Bo a wonderful life and he thanks you for it,and I truly believe you will see each other again...

@hsawaknow, that's the worst pain there is. Many of us here are sending hugs to you and your family, because we know what you're going through.  As I see it now, the last greatest most loving thing we can do for our little hearts on 4 legs, is not let them suffer.  I just won't do that, and I'm sure since they can't talk, it's appreciated.  Love them enough to not let them suffer.  Heart
