Congratulations, Pat.   I always enjoy your presentations and I still wear a pair of clip 18K earrings i bought from you years ago!

I saw a clip about her anniversary yesterday. She sure looks pretty and I love her as a host. I agree that maybe she didn't need or want all the hoopla for the celebration, just something simple and nonassuming. She seems to have lots of grace and doesn't need much of a fuss, being fine with simplicity. One of my favorite hosts!

Pat is definitely one of my favorite hosts of all time. She is professional, knowledgeable, to the point, pleasant, and kind to vendors and callers.

That being said she is not over the top and I wouldn't be a bit surprised if she requested the 1 hour celebration. Long and drawn out does not seem like something Pat would want.

Congratulations Pat!!

Pat has consistently been one of the best hosts at QVC. I don't think I've ever in 35 years felt the need to change the channel or mute her. And at this point in time I can only say that about maybe one or two other hosts at the Q.

Congratulations to Pat and job very well done!

@Shanus   Pat is among my favorites, but I really don't care about how it's celebrated.

I also see no reason we need to compare one person's party to someone else's.

I can see with Pat's personality that she probably didn't want a big "Hoopla!!!

Everyone is different! Where I work, you can choose what type of retirement party you want, or you can opt for none..Some people love being the

"center of attention", and others don't..

Congratulations to Pat, she is a great host, and seems like a very nice human being. I enjoy her shows very much!

Pat could choose to celebrate for an hour on air and then take the party to an offsite location with close friends for a more intimate celebration.  That seems more fitting for her style.

Pat deserves an award and bonus just for all the shows she has had to put up with SG!

IMHO, she is the only one that can 'control' the show with SG!

Great job always!

It would be nice if Nikki called in during the show to wish her mother a "happy anniversary."

Pat is wonderful and deserves so much credit for the job she has done.  I have watched her for at least 32 of those years.  Back in the last century I loved getting ready for work watching Pat and Day.  I wish we had just one hour a week that good!

I have no say or interest in what kind of party someone gets--not my beeswax.  I worked 40 years and blissfully avoided the dreaded retirement party because we got a new boss. People flew in for my husbands!  WAY better him than me!  Woman Very Happy
