I think what Pat is getting is quite adequate.  I don't enjoy anniversary show and prefer to skip the trip back through time.  They are too sloppily sentimental.  Pat probably has the common sense to realize this and be embarrassed by it.  Others revel in it.

I spent 33 years on my job and got a "atta girl".

ENJOY THE ANNIVERSARY SHOWS WHILE YOU CAN BECAUSE I DON'T THINK THERE WILL BE MANY MORE.  LONGEVITY AT QVC DOESN'T SEEM TO BE IN THE CARDS  ANYMORE.

@ShanusI think she's more humble than most hosts and probably likes the shorter program.

@STYLE

Do they have half price items and free s&h on these Anniversary shows?

If not, what's to enjoy?

Congratulations Pat!

There have been quite a few Anniversary Shows.

They are all the same.  They'll have a beautiful cake display, with balloons, a few memory lane QVC clips, and an occasional call-in (hopefully her daughter can call in). Jayne Brown will undoubtedly present something very special to Pat as a gift.

However, 95% of the show will most likely be the same QVC sales show, with most of that hour spent on the TSV.  It's an hour to sell as usual, with a little time spent cheering her on.

I don't mean to sound like a downer, but we've seen QVC anniversary shows before.  It's an hour to sell, sell, sell, interspersed with a few minutes to shine the light on Pat.

I've noticed a few "spots' w/ Pat, Dan and other hosts. Maybe that's the plan insteadof extending the hour celebration.

I agree there's usually a bit of looking back over the 35 years and then it's just another usual show to sell items.

I do remember her from way back when!  She was lovely and gracious from the start and still is!  She's a true asset to the Q and if they know what's best for them, they will do all they can to hang on to her!
