The last time I bought a piece of jewelry from Q was a Barbara Bixby aquamarine ring.  The stones were not right and I did not want to do a back and forth with a replacement so I returned the ring.

I handed the package directly to the mail woman who was picking up mail in our out box at the Concierge Desk in our building.  

A few weeks later I noticed there was no notice the package was delivered to Q.  I called and received the credit but after that I decided no more.  This was the second time this happened - with jewelry.  The first time I handed the package to the clerk at the Post Office.  Do I trust the PO ?  NOPE
