@Gorgf wrote:@jackthebear Thank you , it beats wearing bandanas bandit style. The video is easy to follow. Thanks again.
That's what my husband wanted to do. I told him no, so he used a dust mask with extra fabric inside instead.
I told him I would make a few for us. I have my sewing machine opened working on a quilt and there are lots of scraps.

I watched the video and wondering if it is hard to breath through all the layers of cloth? Seems it would be hard to get air through them.

can breathe better than if you get sick
the idea is to keep whatever comes out of your mouth from getting in the air ,

My city health department sent this out:
To remove a face covering after use, remove it from behind (do not touch the front), wash the covering, and then wash your hands. Cloth face coverings should be washed daily and whenever they become soiled.

@jackthebear I assume if you're well, no symptoms, the masks protects you from germs/bacteria getting in.

Suggested strongly but not mandatory. I went to Walmart this morning and many people wearing masks of all types, some with bandanas, some with surgical mask. Many wearing gloves, many with gloves and no mask. Well today I did wear my mask and gloves.

When I went to our local grocery store yesterday there were about half the people wore masks or scarves including employees. My daughter said she was in Costco yesterday and she saw people even wearing big full head masks like they were going to war or a gas chamber! 😳

I have lung disease with a chronic cough and haven't been out of the house in a month, if I had a hazmat suit I might consider it.
