@Big Joanie

You are one funny lady.  I find myself laughing at many of your posts.

Your comment is so true!  I used DD, but never Spoolies as I was always ironing my hair....with a real iron on the ironing board.

I thought my Italian mother would stroke out.  Having straight hair was unheard of!

Recently bought some new-fangled hair stuff and it reminded me of Dippity Doo.  Nothing ever really changes, we just give it another name Cat LOL

Do any of you remember my favorite comic book, Millie the Model?  I loved that comic book. Clicker, the photographer was her boyfriend and she had a friend named Pepper.

@gidgetgh   yes i used to always loved Millie the Model comics. i had so many!  Loved the comic book rack at the local stationary store. Wooden floors and penny candy and comic books.

And then later, i would read Love Comics. They had romance comic strip stories. I recall one, the young lady was a model but she didnt want her boyfriend to know. So she hid all her magazine covers hoping he would like her just for herself and not just her looks and that she modeled.  Well  all was happy because he found out anyway and was thrilled with her personality, brains and beauty .
