Tamron Hall doesn't work at NBC anymore. She has a new show debuting on ABC in 2019, so it's highly doubtful that she'll be back on Today.

My guess (and it's just that) is that the 9 AM hour will be hosted by people like Craig Melvin, Jenna Bush Hager, Sheinelle Jones, Peter Alexander, Dylan Dreyer, etc. for the next few weeks/months until they figure out what they're going to do.

Is this a news show? I know Megan has been a attorney, a journalist, and a political commentator as careers. Kelly Clarkson, I only know she is a singer. Does she have a journalistic background of which I am not aware.

I DVR every single show I watch, and that networks news is never one programmed to record. Watched Megan on her previous news show and she is someone I like. Know little about Clarkson other than my wife has several of her cd's.

My husband calls NBC morning lineup, the "All Day Show".  My view, not one single topic EVER has the time allowed to give any useful information. 

Turned that station off a long time ago, except an evening program here or there.

NBC's dumping a ton of money to get rid of Kelly, I hope they aren't going to pay Clarkson a bunch. From her actions on other shows, I doubt she'll last.

IMO, this is totally NBC's fault, they knew what they were getting with Kelly, yet had to give her a giant contract.

I agree! They knew what they were getting in Megyn. However, they were not able to "keep her on their script". She did what is accurate news and they can't have anyone not "stickin to their scripts"!

@threecees.  Al Roker just needs to retire and go away.  He's not revelent; he can't even give a decent weather report and he's no entertainer.

@hckynut  Her show wasn't a news show.  It was a talk show.  She wasn't fired for reporting the news or not sticking to their script.  She made a very racist remark.

NBC definitely knew what they were getting and she was not a good fit. Hopefully, she will find work in a not so biased and fake news setting. 

Perhaps a talk radio program, although I suspect she may like being in front of the camera. I guess time will tell.
