I think for that important of an event, you would definitely be better off seeing and trying something on in person. I don't know about you but I'm getting pretty tired of paying original shipping of now $3.50 plus shipping back. It used to be paying "your way" was always cheaper but lately the 6.95 ends up being cheaper. Now that I'm retired I can't afford to spend $10 to try something on!

When I looked at the video, it looked like the lighter colors would be fairly transparent. I think black would be too hot in Florida in June. For those reasons, I liked the aqua/teal. It’s on sale for $39. That’s a great price for that tunic. Since you like tunics, I’d say get it and keep your eye open for something you like better as Spring/Summer approaches.

I agree with @CelticCrafter. You need to be more dressed up than leggings. Not a good look for a wedding, even if casual. Start looking now. A good place to begin is Nordstrom.com. They have a large selection of more dressy clothes appropriate for a wedding.

@Imaoldhippie The top appears to be highly rated. I think it's very pretty.

IIRC, you are plus size?
Johnny Was is a brand I think you would like, but you have to watch for sales and new arrivals as the plus collection for what you're looking for can be limited.
What about this item, on "sale" at NM Last Call?

You could pair it with wide leg pants in any color from the top, and I think it would appeal to your hippie aesthetic.

@lolakimono..........I wear a 1x in tops (cuz of the girls), and a 14/16 in pants and skirts.
I would like something dressier, lace or a little bling, but not gaudy.
I do have time so I will definitely shop around and take everyones suggestions here and we will be talking to my step son before then, so I will know more of what I am doing.

Neimanmarcus.com carries a brand called Caroline Rose. They have nice looking dressy jackets to wear over dresses. Get a plain solid maxi dress and one of those jackets and you have an outfit. If you wait a month or two softsurroundingds.com usually carries soft sheer toppers to put over a dress. Alexevenings.com is another place to look. Do not be afraid to get dressed up, it is a wedding.

@Imaoldhippie NO, NO, NO! I'M the president of that club! Even my handyman commented on my pasty white legs, and I live in FL and am often in shorts! LOL
Okay. Enough about me. Back to your issue. I love the first outfit that @lolakimono posted, except I prefer slim slack (and I don't have bat wings, LOL). I understand that you don't do sleeveless, but a light jacket over that would be beautiful.
I agree with the others, start looking now, but don't buy unless you find something you love. AND, given that the wedding is in FL in June, I would get layering pieces, not just a long sleeve top. Given your bat wings, I would recommend a nice short sleeve top, and light jacket. It will be too hot for long sleeves that you can't remove.
I will wear either dressy slacks, leggings or a maxidress since I am the president of the pasty white legs club I dont do any leg showing.

Poly/Span is very hot. There are a lot of cottony tunics that breath.

@ItsME......lol we can be co-presidents of the PWL Club. I saw some tops that did have the matching jacket. I was thinking along that line too.
I tried several tanning products on my legs and they did look nice but when it started to wear off it was an orange splotchy mess. It looked like I had some weird affliction's of huge orange freckles on my legs.
