We are taking our RV to the NJ beach.  We missed our annual visits for two years because of COVID.

Only staying one week instead of the usual two.  We hope to relax and eat seafood from our favorite dock resturant...they do takeouts.  I am looking forward to getting some boardwalk fudge at Douglass Fudge.  No diet foods for me this week.

@Carmie   Hope last night's flooding doesn't derail your plans.

We're staying home and enjoying what's predicted to be a beautiful weekend at the pool with our friends.

We'll be home this weekend.    I have actually started my fall cleaning and decor!  Figured I would get a head start on it and it's going well.   Only Saturday DH and I will be taking a drive to Logan airport in Boston to pick up our daughter.  She has been out in Reno with friends and is not far from the Tahoe fire.  I'll be happy when she's back, even though she's been safe and texting everyday.

We live by the shore and plenty of fun venues/restaurants goings on this weekend...so...going to enjoy some of the local stuff.

That said...if tomorrow is nice, we may take another trip up to Watch Hill RI, East Beach. We went last week and it was really nice, said we'd love to go back when the humidity broke. It's actually a beautiful day today, post storm.

Was supposed to get new sliders installed today...got rescheduled to next Friday because it was supposed to be torrential rains all day today. Torrential rains came all last night, beautiful now. Go figure. Of course...the doors showed up today...sigh...they forgot to cancel on the books apparently (does any customer service have their act together these days?!)...and my contracter was already rebooked. Owell. Would have been great to have these put in for the weekend. Dang changing weather! #firstworldprobs

Have a good & safe weekend, all~

ps. I keep my summer decor up through summer...ie. end Sept. When the leaves turn gold/orange here, end Sept/early Oct...then I too make the change. I'm not in any rush for that. 😎🍃🌾🍂

Staying home...as usual.  May go to Costco but I think it will be too crowded.  Taking my daughter to Crumbl for this weeks cookies.

No plans, to crowded, to hot to go anywhere or do anything. Staying home where it's safe.

I hope not either.  There is a lot of flooding in the area where I live, but it didn't affect us at all.  When we built our house I made sure we were out of the flood zone.

Hopefully, our travel route will be clear.

Thanks for your concern.

Golf, barbeque, bonfire, perhaps a little time at the lake. We'll just see what develops.

No Labor Day plans.  Hubby was talking about going to a BBQ restaurant someone told him about.  I'm going to make a strawberry shortcake.

Nothing special planned for us. Just relaxing and staying home. Will watch some college football.

I hope everyone enjoys the weekend.

Hoping those impacted by flooding can find comfort in the care and help of others.
