Harvest Time at the Back Fence - November 2016

Welcome friends and visitors to the Back Fence.

I managed to grab the pumpkin at the fence before the squirrels got into it. I made some pumpkin seeds.

I raked up some leaves, the gourds are still hanging in there.

There are times when you must speak, not because you are going to change the opposing side, but because if you do not speak, they have changed you.

We will indeed share with the squirrels. LOL.

Tad chilly today - did not get a lot done but did get two loads of clothes washed - not all put up yet. I use to be sooooooooooo good about putting the clothes up immediately. Just cannot get it all done these days - too many other things to side track me.

Right now am trying to convince the little girl it is her bedtime - she is truly very good about going to bed but lately she has been toying with me. She does not fuss, etc, just lets out yells - drives me insane. I think she picked that up from her brother Ricky as he is unbelievably mouthy. I am being very nice about describing that. Geesh. Ricky was just put to bed as he was a little hellion for a spell this evening - bed was the best thing I could think of - have two little ones here so cannot spend all the time with one.

Davey and I met with a dietitian yesterday and his attitude was great. Now to see if he was telling her what he thinks she wants to hear OR if he is truly willing to get some of that weight off. We shall see I do believe.

Hello all, it's been quite a hectic day at work for me. I am still at work and awaiting news about my sister in law's kidney removal. She called me last night to let me know that her surgeon, who was on vacation last week, managed to squeeze her in for surgery at noon today (her time). That means it could have started around 3 pm my time. Don't know how long it will take - gave everyone in AZ my cell number. Hoping to hear favorable news.

Not as cold this morning as we have had the past couple days. Thank goodness for that. Interesting in that Ricky handles the cold weather very good, the little girl DOES NOT. She literally shivers.

How on earth do you get a slob to put his dirty clothes in the hamper - instead of digging them out of the room from every corner and nook and then having way too much to wash. I tried not washing them and everything I could think of - Davey could care less if he has clean clothes. LOL.

I have heard nary a word from AZ. Perhaps they forgot about me, which is okay if that's what happened. It's preferable to thinking that something went wrong.
