Some areas are outlawing gas powered mowers, blowers, trimmers...Are you for outlawing them or against it?

I'm against them, especially the leaf blowers, not because they're gas but because they are so loud.

Against more laws that restrict choice! As long as it's not harmful, people should be allowed to do what works best for them. If this is about saving the environment, start with outlawing chemtrails nationwide as those are causing more harm and to more people.

I am for gas powered yard maintenance.  Keeping one's property tidy is worth the effort.

I think the Hispanic people here in S. CA woud be outraged and protest the halting of preventing them from using their gas powered tools.

@ThinkingOutLoud Outlaw bath gel.  All that plastic?  Drinks in plastic bottles.  Outlaw alcohol, private jets.  Outlaw smoking.  No, just outlaw stuff that working people doing lawn care to make a living need.  Total nonsense.

You can't outlaw it.

Not all of us have yards that can be mowed with a lesser powered machine or attached to an electric cord. I switched from gas to electric and dealt with the extension cords that I constantly ran over. It's a pain, but it was my choice to deal with when gas prices became astronomical. Luckily, I had a yard that I could do that with.

It's still very time consuming in the dead of summer to have to stop and replug your power cord or wait for it to charge while you are in the middle of lawn care. No one wants to stop and make that job longer than it has to be, especially for those of us who work and would like some of our weekend to enjoy.

Mowers, trimmers and blowers use so little gas it really doesn't matter.

When polyester, plastic and other earth destroying products get banned, I'll rethink this.

There are so many gas powered cars and trucks on the road, banning gas lawn care equiptment isn't going to make a big difference.

There is no HOA in my neighborhood.. yeah!!!

My lawn care guy uses a gas blower. He said they are much more powerful than any electric/battery-powered blower that he has ever used. I have heavy pine needles and cones that drop down on top of my river rock landscaping and it's a booger to get it clean. Gas blowers are the only way to go with that.

Yes, it's LOUD but it's worth having a clean yard.

I'm for limiting the use of gas-powered equipment in certain areas, mostly in public spaces. But for private property, the use of any kind of equipment should be a choice and not outlawing gas-powered equipment.
