*****SHABBAT SHALOM SEPTEMBER 5TH*****

[ Edited ]

Shabbat Shalom and Happy Friday. All are invited here to join us each Friday to share your thoughts and wekend plans.

I'm still disgusted by the story about the children in the thread below this one. All children deserve to be safe, well fed and taken care of the way they should.

We'll be at Temple tonite with our kids and then they have their teen plans this weekend. Sleep overs are less when the years go by and time spent with grandparents (and parents) is spent with their friends, homework and the outside activities that are after school. Hug those kids tightly since time goes by so quickly.

Wishing everyone a safe and relaxing weekend. As always I pray for peace all over the world and in our country.

Shanus Heart

This is a catch up weekend for us. After having family here for the Labor Day long weekend we have to start to put the Summer outdoor toys away. The kids did put the Paddle Boat and Kayaks away before they left but we still have things to do.

Happy Weekend to all!

@Shanus  I completely understand your comments about the grands becoming less  interested in the sleepovers. Right now they are totally engulfed in the activities of the tween and teen years. Just make sure you don't take it personally. They still love you and have the memories of time spent with you. Stay in contact with them, but let them spread their wings.

Hi everyone,

Good Shabbos and happy weekend!

I've been missing in action.  We've been busy with entertaining family.   One member  is still with me.  By next weekend, we'll have a houseful again.  I am LOVING every minute of it.

The weather in CNY has been spectacular.  It's been sunny, mid70s and dry!

We went to the NY State Fair and enjoyed it very much. We also ate our way through the fair. LOL LOL

The last of our August/plantain lily hostas are blooming.  They are lovely!  The fragrance is light and fills our deck area at night.

I hope you all have a fabulous week ahead.

Today is National Cheese Pizza Day.  Mangia!

@PA Mom-mom     The Girls call me Mom Mom, too. DH is Pop Pop. Oh, we stay in touch. They call before bed most nights to hear me say "Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite". I started that when they were toddlers as a joke and they still like to hear it. Lord knows why.
