@Kachina624 @Desertdi , for some reason, I was unable to sign in for a couple of days.   I just signed in and my nic showed up as Lilysmom1.  Maybe I got lucky and they changed it back to my first name.  We shall see what it pops up with when I post.

Yes, the situation around Kamloops is bad.  The fires were next door to my brother's community but the wind was blowing away from it thank heavens.  What a terrible situation.  We are on pins and needles.  He just received his second vaccine so needs two weeks before he can travel freely in Canada.  He is scheduled to come July 27.  I told him to Hope on the first plane he can and head east.

Meanwhile, it has been raining here steady for three days.  Too wet to garden so I cleaned up the wood pile lol.  S

@Kachina624  Well, it looked a bit messy.  I put down overlapping  roof shingles to deter weeds so I won't have to regularly tend this.  That was my motivation, one and done instead of a weekly whipper snipping job.  LM
