Not a fan of HUMIDITY, and that combined with HEAT is BRUTAL! SO..... I would say JULY or AUGUST for me. July would probably be first since that means there is still so much of summer left. At least in August, we're winding down and Fall (my favorite season) is right around the corner.

Least favorite is end of Aug thru mid Sept.... hot hot hot, bees galore, thunderstorms and in our area and chances of hurricanes........................

I have two; November and March. I don't even know why???
We do ride a motorcycle and I guess November signals the end of riding season, plus all the pretty leaves are off the trees. The holidays are hard for me because most of my family has passed on and I dread hearing about "what are you doing for the holidays??" I know people are just trying to be conversational but not everyone jumps up and down with the holidays. Some of us don't have grandkids or big families. Ok rant over on that month lol.
The other one is March. March is not quite the end of winter in the midwest and there's a lot of cold gray days. I think I should start planning a warm vacation in March - an attitude adjustment
On the happy side, I love all the other months - there's something pretty in all of them!

I must be weird, I dont have a least favorite or a favorite. I like them all.

It is January for me....taking the decorations down and I feel like a hermit because of the cold and snow...

When my kids were young, it was September. The lazy days of summer were gone, the hectic schedules, homework, sports all began, and the house seemed so empty. Now, it's March. My DH is a CPA. Tax time really is all year, but especially January through April with it peaking in March. He is MIA and I am a tax widow. Where I live, spring doesn't arrinve until early June and March is when the temps are just high enough for ice instead of snow.

i would pick April for emotional reasons--the highest of highs and the lowest of lows have been April. And I would choose January for emotional reasons which could have been the ultimate lowest of the lows. Both of those months can also be tricky weather wise. We tend to get a lot of rain ☔️ in April and spring storms begin.

February, hands down. I prefer the cold months, but February seems to be the winding down/grey sky/brown grass every day month (in the Mid-Atlantic states).
In addition, I hate Valentine's Day. OK, hate is far too strong, I don't hate it, but it's my least favorite holiday of all holidays. True affection and tokens of love (or at least like) should be any day, not just when pressure mounts to put it on display and feed floral and chocolate retailers. Whew, off my soapbox.

I hate winter so it's January for me. By February, winter is losing it's grip and I'm able to see the light (spring, summer & fall) at the end of the tunnel.

wrote:I pretty much don't like Winter but I'd say my least favorite month is January. Its long, cold, snowy and boring. SMH I am always utterly amazed at those that boast how much they hate Summer! Really? Before coming to these boards I have never know anyone to not like Summer! No one! But I guess its regional. Where I live is a tourist town. Our Summers are full of so many fun activities! It always goes so fast! We live on a lake and our way of life is geared up for Summer to begin! If I didn't do anything I guess I wouldn't like it too. We just tolerate the cold of WInter waiting for the next nice hot, long Summer days to appear again. Love Summer!
I'm sorry you are utterly amazed but I don't look forward to Summer and spend most of the days inside in the air conditioning. Not everyone likes hot weather. I don't go boating or spend many days out. I do like to hike in the woods but I can't do that anymore with back problems. Snow is beautiful and all you have to do in the winter is dress accordingly. We all have our own choices and that is mine. God bless.
