It is 77 degrees at my home in RI.  It's actually lovely, doesn't feel humid at all.  All of us in the northeast seriously need some rain but I believe the weather pattern will change sooner rather than later as the cooler temps will be back on Saturday.   Lots of storms in the west and midwest northern tier and eventually it comes this way.

This is not a record warmth Halloween for us, it is a bit unusual but not a record.

The drought conditions in much of  New Jersey and parts of Connecticut are problematic.

Unusually dry in NYC, but fortunately the water supply is Upstate and is doing well as of today.

The situation on Long Island could become an issue if a good soaking rain doesn't occur soon.

We need rain, everything is dry as can be.  I hope the weather changes very soon as I am not a fan of hot weather especially in the Fall!!!  I live in an area where there are four seasons, it appears we are down to two now and that isn't a good sign in my opinion. Yes, crazy weather.

It hasn't rained here since Helene came barreling through us last month. There is a tree behind us leaning over my neighbors house and yard. The guy won't cut it down and told my neighbor pretty much to go take a hike. The only thing keeping it upright is that its' been so dry.  We lost both our big trees and right now they are piled in our front yard. I worry about someone throwing a smoke out their window and catching fire. There are a lot down here that have roof damage and no tarps so rain would be nice but I am in no hurry. Augusta, Ga.

You are welcome to it. After the long and miserable summer here in Phoenix we are finally in the 70's with 40's for the lows and loving it.
