Welcome friends old and new to the Bird's Nest for October.

I love squirrels so I had to include this one

The trees are started to color in my neighborhood and my black walnut tree has started shedding her leaves.  I love this time of year.

Among the trees is a bird's nest,

and in the nest her three eggs rest,

and in each egg, Hush, you'll be heard!

There lies asleep A tiny bird.

We have oodles of acorns this year, and the squirrels have been busy collecting and eating them.  But they still are raiding my bird feeders!😄

The second, the beautiful tiny white bird with black head, spreading its wings is my favorite although it's almost impossible to pick!
