Keep trying to go to a couple of facebook pages, sister-in-law's for example but keep getting a page I've never seen before. Long page full of stuff but it starts like this:
Jump To
Sections of this page
Other pages on Facebook
Accessibility Help
Press alt+/to open this menu
FACEBOOK (in big all caps letters)
and it goes on a whole list of stuff all the way down the page
I've tried a few things, googled Facebook and tried logging in.....just get the same weird page. Did a restart, didn't help. Even tried for the heck of it to get to a couple of the hosts pages here, same result.
Anyone know what this is or what to try next?
This is just on my desktop. I can access it fine on my Ipad.

The only thing I can suggest is clearing out your browser history and cookies then do a restart. See if that works.

I've never seen anything like that. Can you post a picture? Have you tried a different browser?

First off, I'm not the sharpest crayon in the box when it comes to this stuff. Unfortunately I don't know how to post a picture of the page I kept getting, which actually has stopped popping up. I fiddled around and got to 2 people's pages but the photos and posts don't come up. As for another browser, 99% of the time I use IE so I tried it using Chrome. One of my kids just downloaded that one for me a couple of weeks ago so I'm not all that familiar with using it yet. Soooo,on Chrome there is a thingy to click on things that were imported from IE so from that list I tried getting to Facebook (my favorites list which is where I have the people's facebook pages I check everyday) but same stupid page came up at first and now the half a**ed pages come up just like on IE, no photos or posts. I've tried doing some of the stuff the Facebook help pages suggest but meh. I think I'll give up for now and try again some other day because it's just ticking me off. LOL
Oh also, now if I try to log in to Facebook via google at least when I get to the half a**ed page it wishes me a Happy Birthday by name. Yes it happens to be my birthday today.

You need to be a persons friend in order to see their page.Try sending a "friend request" to that person
Pages are available according to the persons named settings. They may have their page set on "Friends " only settings or "private" and then you will not see anything.
Also they may have you blocked .Then you will not see anything they do.

It was all fine & good right up until last night. Only as of this morning having issues. Even the Q hosts Facebook pages partly come up. None of their photos or any posts.

Do you have the most current version of FB loaded on the device you're using? I had another problem and my DIL had to reload the updated FB for me.

@shaggygirl, The "Jump to" choices, and the "Accessibility Help," and the "Press alt+/ to open this menu" are the menu options for Facebook's Navigation Assistant.
I believe it only works with the full desktop display on a computer (not on mobile devices, such as an iPad, or on the apps for mobile devices), so that's why you only see it on your computer.
It's toggled on and off by using the combination of the "alt" and "/" keys simultaneously (on Apple computers the "option" and "/" keys) so I'd suggest you try toggling it off with your computer.
I haven't used this feature -- I just remembered someone discussing it on Facebook and recognized the menu options and key combos, so someone else here who uses it might know more about it.
Here's the Facebook Help section link:

Thank you very much for the birthday wishes and for your attempt at helping me out. I've spent so much time with all their so called help pages that I don't know where the day went. But later will try that link you gave me. That could well be one I've missed.
