DH's prostate will be removed completely. No wait & see.
He's not willing to to try the 'ticking time bomb' method. Can't say I blame him.
I just had to vent with original post.
Others going through trials this year, I wish you peace in your hearts.

@sharkb8 My dh has prostate cancer also. He's scheduled for surgery in two weeks. Total removal. We are aware that his recovery will be challenging but we can't wait until all of this is behind us. Good luck to your hubby.

@SharkE My husbands recovery has been uneventful, so far. He was sore the first few days of being home now I have to fight him to not start doing yard work! He goes tomorrow to have his catheter removed. Then life without a prostate begins. He's been doing his kegel exercises to help with his bladder control. We got the pathology report and from what I am reading, he's free of any cancer. We'll get the confirmation on that tomorrow. This is uncharted territory for us so we'll see how it goes. Keep me posted on your dh please.
