Looking for a recipe (dressing) for CS. I know many use eggs but I do not want to use raw eggs. I see some using mayonaise. Does the Mayo sub for the egg?

@bargainsgirl Yes, that will work ~ it's called a "lazy Caesar". You might want to add a dash of Worcestershire to mayo to flavor it.

1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp minced garlic
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1/4 tsp hot sauce
2 tbsp mayonnaise

I use this one from Anne Burrell and it's fabulous.
1 cup grated Parmesan, plus a block for shaving
2 lemons, juiced
1 garlic clove
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
3 or 4 anchovy fillets
Extra-virgin olive oil
Kosher salt to taste
In the bowl of a food processor add the 1 cup of cheese, the lemon juice, garlic clove, the mustard and the anchovies. Turn the machine on and let it run for 15 to 20 seconds. As the machine is running, drizzle in 1/2 to 3/4 cup olive oil. Let the machine run for another 15 seconds after the oil has incorporated. Season, to taste, with salt.
I use anchovy paste and sometimes add Worcestershire sauce if I'm low on anchovy paste. If it's too thick, I add a little water. I also adjust the lemon depending on the size. This dressing stays emulsified for me in the fridge. If you try it, I hope you enjoy!

Carrabba’s Caesar Salad Dressing
2 small garlic cloves, minced and mashed to a paste with 1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon anchovy paste |
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice |
1 teaspoon Dijon-style mustard |
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce |
1 cup bottled mayonnaise |
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesian |

This is an old recipe that came out when all the talk about raw egss was taking place. This is very tasty, easy to make and contains no eggs.
CAESAR SALAD
1 clove garlic, mashed
oil, your preference as to the type of
3/4 bottle of Wishbone Italian Dressing
1/2 of a large container Parmesan Cheese
juice of 1/2 lemon
3 shots of Worcestershire Sauce
3 pinches of dried oregano
ground black pepper to taste
Romaine Lettuce
Croutons
Rub the entire bowl with the garlic, then discard about 90% of the garlic and drizzle a little oil to coat. Mix the dressing and parmesan cheese thoroughly. Add the lemon juice, Worcestershire, oregano and pepper. And shake or wisk thoroughly.
Toss with the Romaine and croutons.
