@jaxs momDH would love for me to cook some prime rib. But he feels bad that I can't eat it. What a nice guy. Though I have told him that it wouldn't matter to me.

We keep vampire hours too As soon as the sun comes up, we have to go in the dark bedroom I'm the one who stays up most of the time. DH goes to sleep and then gets up to watch TV at 5:00am for his news program.

Yes I make stuff for them that I don't like and they do. It's not a big deal to me. I'd rather us all have things we like.

I made my mexican casserole yesterday, so we are just having leftovers.

@NycVixen  Good to see you  Hope you have a wonderful Christmas. We had ours last weekend. DH and I are just taking it easy. Watching football and snacking

DH bought me a new massage recliner and I bought him a new BQ grill. So we are happy.

I'm glad to be here in one piece to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

Oh boy, the day started with sister arriving to my house later than planned.  She's something else, complaining about the late dinner time start when she didn't have the courtesy to arrive at my house on time.  The hope was, find my way in daylight so I'd get a feel for how to backtrack.  That didn't work, lol.

Lots of 2 lane roads and hills and locals who drive like bats outta he--.

Visit with the fam was nice.  I started giving the 'we need to think about leaving' warning at 8:30.  Finally said, at 9:15, time to go!  Actually left at 9:30.  Was a freezing rain, sloppy kind of snow that was still falling.

Did I mention no street lights whatsoever on the narrow hilly roads?  Managed to get a few miles on the way home to get a call sister left her eyeglasses at nieces, so back we went.

We got back to my house after a white knuckle drive and then sister drove to her house (I offered to have her stay the night here).  Everyone was safe at home by 11:45.

That was one crazy experience

I've been out of the loop since Sat. morning due to a cable TV/Internet outage on my block, that was caused by an outdoor electrical fire down the street. Even the smartphone won't pick up the Internet, except in the car, lol. It is expected to be repaired Wed. afternoon. Long wait!    Funny, but l miss the Internet more than the TV.

I want to wish everybody a MERRY CHRISTMAS, and l'll be back as soon as my normal service is restored!
