on hold and....the "musical hold" tune is a Christmas song!!  It's February.

"we need a little Christmas, right this very minute".

Now, we've switched to the next song, also a Christmas song.

"I've got my love to keep me warm".

Yikes!

@gidgetgh That reminds me of when you call someone and they don't change their away message. Months later it still says I'll be out of the office such and such week...months earlier.

Strange that Talbots hasn't changed that music

Talbots just contracts with a company that provides the music for their phone.  I'm sure they don't have any idea what is playing while their customers are on  hold.  That is strange that it hasn't been changed though.

@OKPrincess I had a brief moment where I thought maybe I’d slept through the first 11 months of this year and it was time for Christmas again, LOL. 

When the rep answered I said “so....you’re playing Christmas music”. She laughed (as did I) and she said yep, we have no idea why and everyone who calls in tells us!

It's like when people put their "out of office" message on their work email when they go on vacation and forget to take it off when they return.  "I will be on vacation 1/1-1/4; in my absence, please contact Susie Que".   And it's...March.

Talbot's music while on hold is still Christmas music? Must be a reflection of their fashion. Not current
