I only wear hats when it is really cold and windy.  Since I"ve gotten older my head and neck bother me if I don't keep them covered.  When I was younger I loved to feel the wind blowing thru my hair but now I have a lot less hair! LOL

I like hats, but they ruin my hairstyle so don't wear them often. Any given winter, the only day you will find me in a hat is when I am outside for an hour ringing bells for The Salvation Army. It can be 20 below, so I wear as much clothing as I can out on. The hat is one of those fur lined bomber hats pictured earlier in this thread.

Re: Do you wear hats?

[ Edited ]

I wear hats often--especially when I'm not working.  I love hats.  I own many fedoras, and I like cloche hats too.

I actually, during the winter in Indiana, even wear hats like the TSV hat yesterday though I didn't purchase.  I own a few of those.

I own Fedoras from Target, J. Crew and Banana Republic--also HSN twiggy ones!

I have this and love it.  I also have a summer version:

I have one similar to this from J. Crew but it was only like $50:

I think the ponchos were online only at   K oh  ls.

There are many elements: wind, fire, water

It has to be bitter cold for me to consider wearing a hat.  I hate hat head.
