I don't know if I use the word gifting but I will say - I need to finish this before I can gift it or I gifted this to so and so.

@BirkiLady in all fairness, 'pricey" should be equally offensive but I guess since that one has been used for so long, we may have just gotten used to hearing it and it has become more acceptable, IMO. "Gifting" and other contemporary words will likely achieve a more commonplace status in time as well. Again, this is just IMO.

@ValuSkr No apologies necessary for your own preference. FWIW: It appears the majority of responders do not use the word "gifting".
This is not a scientific or accurate poll, however.

@Texasmouse I threw "pricey" out before anyone else accused me of using a word which may be questionable. I don't want to appear above anyone else ever. It was the only word I use on these Forums that came to mind! <face palm>
