I always find it unfortunate when someone puts a negative label on any part of their body. Would you say this if your mom/grandma/favorite aunt/etc had hands like yours? Maybe focus on all the things they can do instead.

 

As far as what nail color to use - if you like off white, stick with that and let that be your signature color.

Being very fair and having thin skin, I guess the skin does not always hold up as well!  I know mine seems to get more fragile as I get older.  Yes, I read that Ballet Slippers is a favorite of the Royals!

That's a pretty color and one of those that elongates the fingers since it's so close to a fair to medium skin tone.  That's similar to the colors I was wearing towards the end of my polish days.
