@12andcounting - how about trying to combat the redness via skincare with an effective niacinamide serum?

It's called "aveeno positively radiant foaming cleanser". I can't seem to post a picture of it.

Try an anti redness primer before makeup. Often they are green, this hides the red.

@12andcountingThanks to the op Franell who sparked my memory: I found the Q ex beauty vendor. Her name is Jamie Kern Lima who owned IT Cosmetics before she sold it for billions.

Right pic = billionaire look
All of her cosmetics dealt w/facial redness. She gave instructions on how to cover up w/o looking like a corpse caked w/make-up. You may want to check YouTube for her videos.

at "idoized salt". For instance Morton's. There is a non iodine option.
This is a big one. My CT "IV scans" all asked for iodine allergy.
I have it and am rosacea prone with flushing. I had one when I was a mere 20 year old. They had to pull the IV out immediately.
Heart beats rapidly., flushing, etc.
I use them without. Non-ionic.

I have roscaca and freckles and a budget lol. I use CoverGirl Simply Ageless cream makeup ( the one with Olay moisturizing cream swirled in it). Applied with a damp pouncing blender sponge. I then use Maybeline F.I.T. Matte pressed powder applied with a brush.
No concealers. But if i did, i would use one with green tint to it.

@JeanLouiseFinch ITA. My cheeks and nose used to be as red as a tomato but are very calm and happy now. I credit Isomers' niacinamide, retinol and ceramide products for the improvement.
