I have high blood pressure now too and he prescribed it for me.
I have the medication but did not start yet. Are there any side effects other than non redness....I did flll it but did not start.
I found it Losaratan. YAY if this is true....could be when I'm stressed BP is rising and redness occurs? it sure makes sense to me. when I'm flushed I feel a heart high beat. makes sense.

I looked this up because I thought it might be good. I have NEVER seen a product with this many chemicals in it. It scared me just reading them. All she talked about was the GOOD ingredients......cucumber, chammomile, licorice, etc. I just wish she'd have mentioned the BAD ones. And they are numerous. Upt to this time, viewing the video, she had me sold. How in the world can she call this clean beauty???

I that yellow based products covered redness soooo much better than green. There are a ton of yellow tinted concealors and pwders e.g. (Clinique).
The RX Finacea a 15% azaleic acid gel didn't do much but Azalex a 20% Azaleic acid cream worked wonderfully and I still use it fade and keep the dark marks awsy combine with Tazorac, NIT tretinoin.
Personally I don't understand why tret is soooo reccomended here. Its so old school. Tretinoin is a FIRST generation retinoid. There are now FOUR generations. The whole poiont of creating a different version of an active ingredient is to improve upon the original. Tazorac/tazarotene is superior to tretinoin in every way. Tazorac/taz will give you those dryness/flakiness side effects more intensly but faster and shorter in duration while tretinoin will give yoiu side effects for much much longer of a time with as well as the benefits are WAY slower with tret. I said it before that if a derm is using a retinoid they are using tazarotene or simply ask your pharmacist.
But if you are a devotee to the original retinoid Tret, there are so many newer versions of it besides Retin-A Micro that makes it way less irritating, e.g. Altreno (suspended in a HA based lotion) and Atralin (suspended in a collogen based serum). But Taz/tazarotene has newer versions as well such as Arazlo, same base as Altreno. Regardless BOTH Altreno and Arazlo are miracle workers for redness. If you can use old school tret try Altreno. The only down side is insurance will DEF not cover either and they can be very very pricey ![]()
