@Shanus  , what a sweet painting! I like the optimistic yet restrained colorwork. Congratulations on the sale!

My father was an industrial designer who painted as a hobby/side gig. He also lectured about history at community colleges.  He worked in huge abstracts where you could really see and feel his hand. He was also a bit infamous for painting cars and motorcycles with the American flag in the early 70s.

Thank you for helping me remember! I haven't thought about him in a while.

Just wanted to show my Forum Friends what I'm doing in my semi-retirement time. 

It was a fun show and I assume many paintings, as well as the pottery and other items sold will become Mother's Day gifts. Great timing!
