I am so excited about the QVC St Patrick's day celebration Todays Special Value: The Connemara marble and Waterford Hurricane lamp is really awesome. I want to share some photos and words from the team who will bring this to you on March 17^th.

I know that you will look at these pictures and think that are just machines at work, but believe me, my team in our workshop have been working flat out for the last few months.  What you are seeing are blocks of Connemara marble, fresh from the quarry in Connemara that we have been cutting, slicing and polishing for a BIG project that will air on St Patrick’s Day.

The Irish for happy Christmas is "Nollaig Shona" , and during the holiday our  workshop will close until after the new year and have a well-earned rest!

Yet another month has somehow slipped by, and  the year is almost over !!

A Visit to the Village with the longest place name in Europe.

'She was lovely and fair, as the rose of the summer; yet 'twas not her beauty alone that won me ' - are the words of the famous song, and inspiration behind the Rose of Tralee pageant that takes place in Tralee, Co Kerry every August.

In fact, I was in Kerry the other day, and took a stroll on Ventry beach, which is located about 30 miles west of the town of Tralee.

I always thought that Christmas came only once a year, but in the world of QVC, it happens in July also. So, putting the leprechaun hat aside, and grabbing my Christmas Santa hat, it's off to the sunshine in the USA next week to celebrate Christmas in July !!

June in Ireland signals the beginning of summer, and the first week  - better known as "exam week" when students sit their State exams  - usually brings a spell of warm and sunny weather … time for the first ice cream of the season !!

My travels brought me through the Knockmealdown Mountains in countyTipperary the other day; it was bright and lovely sunny day......
