pooky, sorry that you have ms. I have had CIDP ( a neurological disorder) for 15 years & hate hot weather. Thank goodness we have 4 seasons.

Yes, pooky, this time of year is just a waiting game. I saw on the weather channel a large part of the country is 8-10 degrees above average. I am fully stocked with fall gear and still wearing shorts and tank tops due to weather.

My Mom's birthday is September 22 and it seems by her birthday every year the weather starts to break. Hope the eventual change in the weather gives you some relief

I don't have any health issues that would contribute to a dislike in the heat, but I can tell you that I can't stand the heat and humidity! I was listening to a weather channel and they said this year we had 42 days of temps 90 degrees and more, while the year before we had 16 days of 90 degrees and higher. It's no wonder we can't wait for it to break!!

My daughter has MS, but she is mostly in buildings with AC. This weekend, she was out of town enjoying the beach and warm weather.

Last summer was the worst for her. She had to stand outside for a couple of hours in a line at her daughter's Girl Scout camp on an extremely hot day. She had a really bad episode and needed IV treatment.

She is looking to getting a cooling vest in case a situation like this happens again.

I hope you get the relief you need from the hot weather.
