Same with me. Each shot lasted less and less time. Ended up with knee replacement.

@matty liz  After meniscus surgery, I had several cortisone shots.  The first one lasted about a year, but the other two did not last long.  My surgeon at the time wanted to do knee replacement, so I found another ortho.  I now get gel shots.  They are not perfect, but I prefer them over cortisone, especially since I do not plan on knee replacement any time soon.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!
