Medicar part D 2022 rates....WOW!

Express Scripts sold to Cigna and we got the new rates for 2022 today. Ours went from 26.50 per mo the 71.50 per month. Coverage is not that great either and our CVS is no longer the pharmacy choice for us.

We will be looking hard at new coverage when all the rates come out on the Medicare site next month.

Totally shocked at what is going on.

it's that time of year again! I have to look at my plan for updates. I have been with AARP UHC since retiring in 2016 and very satisfied with the plan. I have Optum RX home delivery, no issues. Good luck on your search for a plan that serves your needs better

@cozyseeker Haven't seen mine yet. I'm assuming more, for sure, but even the big SS increase won't pay for that kind of increase.

My Part D Plan Wellcare decreased in price for 2022.

@Goodie2shoes I have what you have. Tidy high rate per month but they just picked up all my medical charges this summer. Same for my husband for chemo - we didn't pay a dime.

@fthunt I thought per the thread title we are talking about Part D the prescription drug plan.

Ours went up $10 a month with Aetna....

@cozyseeker I am not in the system yet, this is crazy. They have to know people are going to be leaving. This is very frightening to me. Hope you can do better some place else.
