Call your doctor

A heating pad or a hot bath may help the spasms ease. See a doctor.

Can someone get your to an ER or an Urgent Care facility? If it's extreme and no one can help, call 911 for help from the EMTs. Please take care of yourself, I'm so sorry you are in such pain.

@Pqfan...!! I am so happy to see you here. I have really missed your posts. Heart You came to the right place. You have many friends here I am sure feel the same way about you as I do.

Now as far as your back... Have you done any kind of unusual activities that you may just have a temporary condition? Also if you don't have a primary care physician you could always go to an Emergi-Med. At times when I cannot see a physician after hours, I have gone to one of them and they were excellent. They are used to dealing with emergencies that pop up that are not life-threatening.

Please, Please keep us posted and don't be a stranger here. I have often thought about you and wondered if you would come back. Sorry, it had to be because you are in pain but I am going to say a prayer that this is all just a temporary situation for you.

@Pqfan So good to see you!

Can you go to the ER? To be in that much pain is terrible.

Do you have epsom salts to put in a warm bath?  I agree with using a heating pad also and maybe ibuprofen.  Of course, a dr or immediate medical care center would be your best bet if spasms don't subside.
