How ironic to read your post.  Sitting here with heating pad wrapped around my arthritic hands!  Thanks for your advice....

@Pooky1 Thanks for this tip.

@nana59  I too have a brace on my right hand in agony with my thumb.  Rubbed on Ben Gay cream then put brace on - never happened before.  Have had pain all weekend going to see Dr.  I hope tomorrow.  Sending healing thoughts.

Taking Vitamin B6 - in the co-enzymated (safer) form - P5P - cured my trigger thumb. A lot of similar problems are caused by vitamin deficiencies and doctors are ordering surgery to fix them because they don't know.

I don't get hand pain but I do get wrist pain where I had broken my wrist as a child and it has now become arthritic. I go to the rheumatoligist and he injects it for me. Helps a lot.

I would also like to know about the dosage.  I have Rheumatoid Arthritis & my hands & wrists hurt all the time & many days I can't hardly use them.  Any information is greatly appreciated.

Hi!

Vit B6 is great for Nerve Pain: due from inflammation of the nerves?.which can result from a vit b deficiency. Folic acid and B12 also help. A good, high dose vitamin b complex will help..

FYI

If you are having radiating pain, stabbing or shooting pains, or a burning sensation anywhere along your trapezius, shoulders, arms, elbows, wrists, fingers, or knuckles -- have the doctor check for nerve impingement in your cervical disks.

I have 4 bulging disks in my spine. Years at the comouter for 10 hrs per day for work, and sitting in a NON ergonomic chair led to this problem. I have 2 cervical, and 2 lumbar, bulging disks. When my neck disks get compressed, the nerve pain can appear anywhere along those areas I mentioned. The orthopedic surgeon told me I needed spinal injections for pain, or surgery. I DECLINED both. I bought an Inversion Table and now I only have pain if I go weeks witjout using it and have stressed my neck. As long as I use the table at least 3 x week, I am fine. Smiley Happy  The table stretches your spine, to allow the disks to release pressure off the nerves. It reallynwoorks! The table is by Teeter Hangups, and I think qvc or hsn have it.

If your pain is due to arthritis, esp rheumatoid, probiotics, cherry extract caps and turmeric caps can help. The latter two are anti inflammatory. Homeopathic arnica montana 30c pillules can also help. Homeopathic Rhus Tox 30c can also help. There are actually a few different remedies for arthritis.
